ABOUT US
One of our goals in children's ministry is to provide a CLEAN, SAFE and SECURE learning environment for every child in our care. A BACKGROUND CHECK and DHR CLEARANCE is REQUIRED by every volunteer.
Written policies and procedures are in place to protect the children, our volunteers and our church. This also provides a "peace of mind" for parents, while your child is with us.
Our hearts desire in children's ministry is to provide excellent care and godly leadership as we help children LOVE GOD, LOVE OTHERS, SERVE and LOVE THE LOST as a way of life!
Cornerstone
This is our children's worship service designed for children in the 5K - 5th grade. We meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the same time our adults participate in worship. God has placed a team of leaders who pray and work together to create an atmosphere for children to grow spiritually.
Throughout the hour the children participate in true praise & worship and a Bible lesson. Drama, games and puppets are incorporated to re-enforce what the children are learning. Our desire is to help them know how to apply scriptures to everyday life situations and life transformation.
We have a team of characters, such as Shodan Bob, Angelica, KC, Mrs C., Professor Hosay and Inspector "who-so" who attend the cornerstone from time to time to help the children learn and have fun.

AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" taken from II Timothy 2:15. Our 5K - 5th grade children meet every Wednesday evening from 6:15 - 7:45 p.m. during the school year. Registration and fun night will be held Wednesday evening, August 17th from 6:00 - 7:45. p.m.
Our AWANA program is FUN with a PURPOSE - to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. AWANA blends Bible teaching and the memorization of scripture in a fun way for children. AWANA is fully grounded in scripture where EVANGELISM and DISCIPLESHIP go hand in hand!
An annual fee of $ 30.00 covers the cost of a child's handbook, vest or t-shirt, handbag, badges, awards, prizes and our AWANA store. (the store is an all-time favorite!)

Bible Study
Small group Bible Study begins at 10:15 a.m. for children in the 5K - 5th grades. We provide age graded classes where children rotate from station to station and participate in Bible lessons, dramas, crafts and games.
God has blessed our ministry with excellent Bible study leaders who are committed to the Lord and serve faithfully in teaching the children.

CAMP
KIDS CAMP is something the children and chaperones look forward to each summer! Dates and more information to be provided at a later date.
